La persona di Maschiach non ha necessità di fare miracoli, perchè questo non è un segno della sua rettitudine.
Maimonide parla della vera identità di Maschiach che vuol dire un Uomo “Unto”, colui che riuscirà a cambiare il modus vivendi di tutti gli uomini della sua generazione in modo che la gente comincerà a prendere la vita non come un lusso, non una vita fatta per la persona stessa (“Io sono mio”, “Io sono quello più importante del mondo”), ma capirà che siamo in servizio di HaShem in ogni secondo della nostra esistenza.
Hashem ha creato il mondo per una ragione, la ragione è scritta nella Torah, ed è nostra responsabilità seguire le sue istruzioni, perché è Lui il padrone della vita, Lui che ci da la vita ed è Lui che crea il mondo di continuo.
Come possiamo indentificarlo? Maimonide dice: “Se si innalzerà un Re della famiglia di David…”.
Un Re è diverso da un Comandante, perché uno che comanda a volte non è accettato dalla gente: un Re può essere Re solo se viene incoronato dalla gente secondo la loro volontà.

Maimonides told about the true identity of Maschiach which means an “anointed” man, the one who will be able to change the modus vivendi of all men of his generation so that people will begin to consider life not as a luxury, or a self centered existence (“I am me”, “I am the most important person in the world”), but people will understand that we all are in service of HaShem in every second of our existence.
Hashem created the world for one reason, and this reason is written in the Torah, and it is our responsibility to follow His instructions, because He is the master of life, He is the One who gives us life and it is He who creates the world continually.
How can we recognize Mashiach? Maimonides says: “If a King of David’s family is raised …”.
A King is different from a Commander, because one who commands is sometimes not accepted by people: but a King can only be King if he is crowned by people according to their will.
